Our friend Randy Bowser "rbowser" has shared a new sampled instrument the AUTOHARP. He as designed this SFZ based instrument specifically for use with the Garritan ARIA Player. But since this is all SFZ it will also work with Cakewalk Dimension Pro, Rapture, and others.
From Randy:
Above is the Autoharp I've had since the early 1970's. It's in excellent condition. I've sampled it thoroughly, and programmed an Autoharp virtual instrument for the Garritan ARIA Player. It's the most complex SFZ instrument I've so far put together.
AUTOHARP Features:
- 528 24 bit samples.
- All 127 MIDI notes - 10 1/2 octaves of sound.
- SEVEN ARTICULATION LAYERS for each chord.
- Release samples on all chords.
- Pick noise controlled by Mod Wheel.
- Automatic damping noise controlled by Sustain Pedal.
- Three octaves of single notes plus alternates.
- Six octaves of chords.
- Open string strums for atmospheric pads.
- Other effects - key noises, plucks, etc.

Enjoy!
This used to be advertised for Free, and to some extent, still is, on the website:

QUOTES:
"Please note. The sampled AUTOHARP is currently a FREE download. However, if you find the instrument useful please consider using the author’s PayPal link to DONATE and encourage more instruments like this. Enjoy!"...
"The instrument itself, the SFZ file and the samples, are located in a different, non-public folder. The link to that will be sent to you after you BUY Autoharp through this link."
I have no issue with someone charging for their fine work. But intentional or not, offering it for free, THEN charging for it, is anything but fine.
Both of the above quotes STILL appear on the website.
SFZ doesn't exist in download folder.
You don't get anything until you pay for it.
!! Randy Bowser here, creator of The Autoharp. I had totally forgotten about this listing from six years ago until a disgruntled visitor to Patch Arena wrote me today saying it was not appreciated that this site says the instrument is free when it isn't. -- Well, I didn't even put this listing up. 6 years ago I was asked if my info could be put up, naturally, I appreciated the offer, but that was way bay in 2012 when The Autoharp could be bought with a donation. 200 downloads later without a single donation coming in, I realized I had to just put a specific price on it. But, unfortunately the info was never updated here at Patch Arena - and I had completely forgotten this listing even existed.
I'll contact the admins and ask for the info to be updated - People are buying the instrument, but now I can see what a bummer it must be to think something's going to be free but it ends up requiring a purchase. - I suppose they may need to just delete the listing since this is supposed to be a space for only free SFZ instruments.
Sorry about the inconvenience! - Hopelly this will get corrected soon here in 2018!

Thanks for the alert, DF! See my new reply here - This is the first time I've been here in 6 years! I didn't even put this listing up, and it's been outdated for a long time now - It's a listing I totally forgot about. Hopefully, it will all be corrected soon!
I do want to point out that it's not quite correct that "you don't get anything until you pay for it." - Yes, the instrument costs $15, but in that public folder, there is a large amount of preview material including MP3s of The Autoharp used in performance.
Sorry about the old info, everyone! I'll try to get the attention of the admins so this can be corrected.
Randy B.
Hey Randy,
It's good to see you here. It's been a while since the original post! I've updated the post. Best Regards in 2018!
