EMU SP 1200 with external HxC SD Cardreader plus internal Floppydrive and drive select switch

12Bitski has uploaded a new video - EMU SP 1200 with external HxC SD Cardreader plus internal Floppydrive and drive select switch.

This here is the SP 1200 running with an external HxC Floppydrive Emulator ,SD Cardreader.
The Floppydrive is still installed and ready to use.
You can select between the drives by a little switch.

Everything here is just wired. No modding of the case.

All wires are led through the air slits in the back of SP

Inside, there is a floppy splitcable that first goes to the internal drive and then with a second plug to the HxC.
Also, there´s a splitted Floppy power cable as well, that leads to both drives. For the HxC, you will just need the 5V leads.

This Mod here is recommended to SP 1200 users, who want to use both drives, but don´t want to change something on the body of the machine.

If you just want to go with the Floppy Emulator and don´t need the Floppydrive anymore, you can go with the HxC Rev F, that you can just exchange with the internal Floppydrive.
