Sylenth1 is a virtual analog VSTi synthesizer that takes the definitions of quality and performance to a higher level. Until now only very few software synthesizers have been able to stand up to the sound quality standards of hardware synths. Sylenth1 is one that does.

The oscillators, filters and envelopes closely model components found in some of the great monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers of yesteryear. Modules can be mixed and matched so you can build hybrids, but what sets DIVA apart is the sheer authenticity of the analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators (e.g. PSpice) in realtime. The behaviour of zero-delay-feedback filters when pushed to the limit clearly demonstrates the advantages of this groundbreaking approach.

The legendary waveshaping sound of Z3TA+ (zay’-ta) is back – and better than ever. New filters, modulatable waveshapers, flexible effects, expressive control and a gorgeous new interface make Z3TA+ 2 one seriously powerful synth. Presenting Twisted Oscillators:

128 new programs for Rapture and Rapture LE.

This pack utilizes custom stereo wavetables, a twisted oscillator driven multisample set, and custom multiwave sfz files. The twisted oscillators concept started by creating multisamples of 1000+ oscillators playing detuned and in unison, then recording the output. (since at the time this could only be created by bouncing, not playing in realtime without melting our CPU)

Setup instructions: download your installer HERE – there are two different installers: one for XP/Vista and one for OSX – the installer will take care of the rest. Some programs utilize samples from the free Rapture XP 1 & 2, so make sure that you have those installed as well. OS X users will have to hit “F5″ on their program browser to refresh.
